2006-2010 Mid Mount
When the Nytro entered the market 2008, we were very satisfied with the turbo kit. Just after we introduced the new Nytro turbo kit, we did some tests with the Apex and built a mid mount version. It worked very good. We decided to offer this kit for the 2009/10 season. The benefits with this new version is the lower noise level and the quicker response. The seat must be modified from under and some cutting in the chassis is required.
2006-2010 Rear Mount
We use the stock fuel injection system after the turbo installation. But we also use our own MCX external fuel injection system. 4 extra injectors are installed in the plenum. When you start up the engine and drive just slowly without turbo pressure, fuel is delivered only through the stock injectors. When turbo pressure arrives, fuel starts to come in exact amount for each rpm and load through the external injectors controlled by the external EFI-box.

2011 200 HP
Yamaha snowmobiles with our turbo kits are developed to have perfect air/fuel ratio and the same absolute pressure (and the same power) up to 3000 meters elevation. This makes it possible to use the same clutching at any altitude. At 3000 meters the power is twice as high with the 200 hp turbo kit installed compared to a stock Apex 2011 according to our tests. The EXUP valve in the exhaust system is left untouched. The noise level is surprisingly low. The 4-1 system on this machine makes the exhaust sound very attractive. Compared to the MCX Nytro turbo, this machine is even more quiet. The throttle response is excellent. No welding is required in the exhaust system.

2011 290 HP
Our high performance kit delivers 290 hp. Thanks to the thicker head gasket that is included with the kit, pump gas can be used. (90 octane PON for Canada and USA and 98 octane RON for Scandinavia and Russia) This high performance kit is designed for the customer that demands nothing but the best, but still wants to have a reliable sled for every day use and still wants to drive on pump gas.
